About GDPR-AVG

As an organisation, we value the privacy of our customers and partners. We have been doing this for much longer and as a result we are well prepared for the new privacy legislation as of 25 May 2018 (AVG/GDPR). Our privacy terms and conditions can be found below.

At Edge we start a good protection of digital data based on privacy by design: in our own software development we do not store information that we do not need. In addition, the right architecture and a solid cyber security are required. PCs, servers, and smartphones and tablet computers are protected against unauthorised use as much as possible. We use Unix operating systems (OS-X and Ubuntu) and regularly update the software, including security updates. Access for administrators to servers at our Cloud providers is always via OpenVPN and ssh connections where firewalls are also used to allow access only for a limited set of IP addresses. Access to data and applications is possible via HTTPS. If the user tries to access via HTTP, it will be forwarded to HTTPS. If data is transported from A to B (e.g. from a laptop to the cloud) via a network connection, this is done on the basis of HTTPS or OpenVPN. Internal communication takes place via email provider (Fastmail) and Telegram. Both communication platforms use encrypted connections to ensure confidentiality.

Edge is continuously expanding and optimising its services for new, privacy-proof propositions. Our privacy policy may therefore also change. In the event of changes, we will notify our business relations via the contact details known to us. In the event of changes, we will notify our business relations via the contact details known to us.
